A separate transaction on thesame date, also for payment of ten pounds, conveys from Simeon to Jonathan therights to the 40 acres on which Jonathan is currently living and improving. On11 June 1800, for payment of ten dollars, Jonathan purchased another parcelfrom Simeon. On 11 June 1800, Jonathan How sold what seems the same parcel to theheirs of Silas Leonard for payment of ten dollars.[1] On 5 December 1806,Jonathan How of Sharon, in consideration of five hundred dollars, conveyed toSamuel How of Sharon the whole of the farm on which Jonathan now residesconsisting of 100 acres of the first hundred-acre lot in the right of James Howand a 40 acres that was originally the right of Timothy Spaulding. On 13 March1807, Samuel How and his father Jonathan How entered an agreement in which for onebarley corn per year, Jonathan How leases one-half the farm he deed to Samuelduring the term of Jonathan’s natural life.
