In his will dated 25 July 1835 (proved1 September 1835), Joseph Holt of Temple bequeathed to beloved wife Anna P.Holt six hundred dollars during her natural life which is to revert to heirsafter her decease. Anna receives the household furniture brought to themarriage to be at her disposal. Sally Davenport and Jonathan Kimball eachreceived five dollars.[1]Jane Holt received the sum of six dollars. The remainder of the estate was tobe divided between brothers Abiel Holt and Nathan Holt.
