Property
On 19 May 1796 (recorded 3 March 1798), John Pearl conveyed to John Pearl, Jr., cordwainer of Boxford, two pieces of land in Boxford for payment of $1,000. This transaction included a$400 bond that obligates John to his son John, Jr. and involves the freedom to cross each other’s property and the disposition of the farming tools.[1][1]Massachusetts Land Records, Essex County, 163:70
