He is supposed to have left Sanbornton for New York in 1832 and nothing heard from him after. There are two Chauncey's in New York state in 1850 of about the right age; needs further investigation. There is also a Chauncey who dies in 1834 in Hamburg NY who was born 1799 and married Harriet, but that is definitely not him.
