Identity
Although published sources all say that Nathan Holt married Sarah Chamberlain, he actually married Susannah Blanchard which can be proved with the information in the pension application file -- the application being filed by daughter Phebe in 1846 requesting payments that had been due her now deceased mother.Endnotes
