Probate
Vermont. Probate Court (Randolph District); Probate Place: Orange, Vermont, Folder 97, Lock, John-Noyes, Mary L, 1871-1879Mary McIntire wrote her will 17 March 1864 and the estate entered probate 22 October 1874. In her will, Mary left to her brother James the use of all of her estate during his natural life. She left bequests of one hundred dollars to children of her brother James: Hamden W. McIntire and Elizabeth C. Temple widow of George Temple. After the death of her brother James, her estate is to be divided with one-half to her niece Abbie P. McIntire, and the other half to be divided equally between Hugh Henry McIntire and Benjamin G. McIntire who are children of James. Nephew Hugh Henry McIntire was named executor.
