There are things to straighten out about marriages. Books say he married Sarah Shattuck, but the son attributed to him has a mother of Joanna Marshall. So, maybe he married Joanna and then Sarah. Sarah was the widow of Ebenezer Gilson, so still not clear.

History of Milford says his marriages are Joan Marshall and Dolly Gould. Seems the case. No Sarah Shattuck
