He was survived by his wife and two daughters Mrs George Ladue of Detroit and Mrs J.L. Vaughn of Bay City
Preceded in death by his son Charlie ABBOT died Tuesday PM June 5, 1866; age 5yrs, it was reported that the he was the only son of Thomas F. & Elizabeth H. (A?) Abbott Taken from the Detroit Daily Post June 7, 1866
