Charles Proctor was named his guardian in 1810 following the death of father Abel. In 1817, Nathaniel Grace was named guardian. In 1824, uncle John Abbot approved the accounting of the expenses of the guardianship.
Julian attended Harvard (perhaps did not graduate) and was an attorney in Lowell. He does not seem to have married.
