Robert Rand

The parents of Robert Rand are not really clear. It has been proposed that his parents were Robert Rand and Alice Sharp, but there is no clear documentation of that. A son Robert is mentioned in Robert the elder's will, stating "a bequest to my son Robert after my wife's decease if he do come over." The will was made in 1651/2 which would mean this Robert was still in England at that time. There are some early sources that state he is the son of Robert and Alice. Or he may have different parents altogether.
