Her parentage is not certain. The only real reason to think she is the daughter of John Moses Cooper is that she is described as having been the sister of "old Daniel Cooper" who was the son of John Moses Cooper and who lived to be 100. The will of her husband refers to his brother-in-law Daniell Cooper. Some internet trees suggest her father was possibly a William Cooper.
