There is a record that Mary Patrick married James Feake by 1660. But there is also a Mary Patrick married to Tobias Feake and an Ann Patrick married to Tobias Feake. It turns out that Tobias Feake first married Ann, the widow of Daniel Patrick. After Ann died, he married Mary Patrick who is thought to be the brother of Daniel Patrick. Mary Patrick had a first husband I can't find, but she had a daughter Mary by that marriage. That Mary married James Feake who was Tobias Feake's son by his first marriage -- so Mary and James are step-siblings. Anyway, the most reasonable conclusion, although by no means certain is that Elizabeth Feake, our ancestor, was the daughter of Tobias Feake and Mary Patrick -- which is not so great since Tobias Feake completely abandoned his family.
