Individual Details
John B. Hopkins
(Sep 1803 - 11 Apr 1857)
The Milford book says he went to California and he died there 11 April 1857. If he did, he did not take his wife with him as she continued to live in Milford and later in Massachusetts with relatives and she died in Massachusetts in 1871. She is in the 1850 Census in Milford with some siblings and John is not with her. There is a John Hopkins of the right age at one of the gold rush camps in California in 1850 but says he was born in Maine.
John and Cassendana do not seem to have had any children.
