Individual Details
Amos Johnson
(13 Jan 1756 - Bef 10 Mar 1825)
The marriages for the children are confusing in the records. There are marriage records for both Polly and Betsy to Alpheus Eaton, but the probate record for Betsy establishes through investigation that Betsy married Alpheus. Polly married Adelphus Taft. Neither of the daughters seem to have had more than the one marriage. Perhaps there was an intention of Polly and Alpheus that did not go through. It seems more likely in this case that the record transcriptions are just messed up.
