Will
New Hampshire. Probate Court (Merrimack County); Probate Place: Merrimack, New Hampshire, Probate Records, Vol 16, 1839-1875, pp 116-117Nathaniel Cavis wrote his will 7 June 1826 and it was proved on the fourth Tuesday of September 1842. Nathaniel left one dollar to each of his children as they had already received their portions: sons Jonathan, Nathaniel, John, and Solomon and daughters Sarah Cilley wife of Seth Newell Cilley and Mary Gault wife of Obed Gault. All the personal estate including money, just demands, and moveables went to beloved wife Lydia who was also named executrix.
Jonathan is his son from his first marriage.
