New Hampshire. Probate Court (Merrimack County); Probate Place: Merrimack, New Hampshire, Probate Records, Vol 1, 1823-1828, will of William Hazeltine, pp 204-205In his will written 16 Jun 1825, William Hazeltine left to beloved wife Sarah, in addition to her right of dower, the use and improvement of all of the household as well as all the notes owed to her to be at her own disposal. Beloved daughter Judith Rolfe receives $300, one-half of the household furniture after the decease of her mother, one-half of the farm utensils, and one-third of the neat cattle, sheep, hogs, and horses. Beloved daughter Sarah Jones receives the same bequest as Judith. Well-beloved daughter-in-law Sarah Hazeltine widow of son Samuel C. receives the privilege of living with the family as long as she remains a widow. Beloved son Abiel receives all the real estate, the other one-third of the animals, the clock, the sleigh and harness. The remainder of his personal effects and clothing are to be divided equally among his three children. Abiel Hazeltine was name executor.
