Will
New Hampshire. Probate Court (Merrimack County); Probate Place: Merrimack, New Hampshire, Probate Records, Vol 16, 1839-1875, will of Timothy Carter, pp 131-132Timothy Carter wrote his will 8 March 1833 and was proved on the fourth Tuesday of February 1843. Wife Judith receives all the household furniture, $100 in cash, and provisions for her maintenance for her natural life or as long as she is a widow. Son Ezra Carter receives $100, daughter Judith W. Carter $400, and son-in-law Augustin C. Pierce $50. All the remainder of the estate goes to son Abiel C. Carter who was also named executor.
