Connecticut State Library (Hartford, Connecticut); Probate Place: Hartford, Connecticut, Probate Packets, Carpenter, Comfort-Kimball, J, 1833-1880, probate of Daniel Glazier, case number 354In his will written 10 September 1852, Daniel Glazier bequeaths to beloved wife Mary all the furniture she brought to the marriage, all the furniture obtained since their marriage (except the secretary), $850, and the use of one-third part of the house as long as she remains a widow; grandson Daniel Johnson Glazier, $150 over what he has received; grandson Isaac Glazier receives 10 shares of bank stock; Elizabeth Spalden and Sarah R. Glazier receive all of his furniture (except the secretary) and $4000 to be divided equally between them; grandson Hiram Rider receives a piece of land; and son Orlen Glazier receives the remainder of the estate and is named executor.
