County Clerk (Chittenden County); Probate Place: Chittenden, Vermont, Estate Files, Box 3, Files No 294-367, 1813-1815, Case 326, estate of Abraham FordThe real property of Abraham Ford was valued at $450 with a total estate value of $1,036.51. One-third part of the real estate was set off to widow Sarah Ford as well as use of one-half of the house. After the debts against the estate were paid, a total of $195 was available for distribution to the heirs: widow Sarah, $65; oldest son Warren, $26; son Milton agreed to not take his share; and $13 each to the other children Sally, Althea, Harvey, Cloe, Sophia, Lovina, and Amanda. Milton's share of $13 went to Harvey.
