William Ballard Abbott

(9 Jul 1793 - 19 May 1840)

Did he marry Lucinda Flint or did William Abbott 1792 marry Lucinda? The Paschal Abbott who takes over the administration of William's estate for Lucinda could be Paschal Abbott the husband of William B. Abbott's sister Mary. I think I am going to switch the marriage to William Ballard Abbott and Lucinda Flint.

William Ballard Abbott was adopted by his uncle Timothy Ballard of Andover. And since William Ballard Abbott is then in Andover he can marry Lucinda Flint there.

The Flint book says William was born 9 July 1792; the other William was born in Oct 1792 -- so this is William is perhaps more likely.

Charlotte Helen Abbott seems to support that is was this William who had the nice place in Andover -- Cuba Street in Andover Historic Preservation
