Edward’s parents also immigrated but it is not known if they all came at the same time. Edward’s parents were persecuted in Salem for their Quaker sympathies and they sold out of Salem and went to Long Island in February 1658. Edward the younger married Elizabeth Porter at Salem about 1646.Edward and Elizabeth sold their property in Salem to Thomas Solas on 29 July 1658 and relocated to Huntington, Long Island. No reference is made as to when Elizabeth died, but he remarried to Mary Marsh in 1671. The last record of Edward is in 1696.
