Case number 393Peter Ames did not leave a will and widow Sally Ames was administratrix of the estate 30 September 1823. The real property included 150 acres with house and barn valued at $1200. The personal estate was valued at $272.27. Parcels of real property with total value of $400 were set off to the widow. The real estate was sold in 1825 to settle the estate. There were guardianship cases for Charles Ames (William Livermore selected) and Adaline Ames (William Livermore). Charles was over fourteen in 1824 when he selected his guardian and Adeline was over age fourteen in 1826.
