Vermont. Probate Court (Caledonia District); Probate Place: Caledonia, Vermont, Probate Records, Vol 12-13, 1830-1851, volume 13, p 157, will of Sarah BlanchardIn her will, Sarah leaves to William A. Palmer, to hold in trust, ten shares at the bank in Caledonia and he is to use the dividends on those shares to provide support for her daughter Rebecca Porter during her life. At Rebecca's decease, those shares are to be equally divided among Rebecca's children. The other ten shares are bequeathed to daughter Sarah Palmer. Sarah also receives the farm stock, farming tools, and personal estate excluding the furniture. Rebecca and Sarah will equally divided the furniture and clothing. William Palmer is named executor.
