In his will dated 22 July 1813 (probate May 1818), Robert Parker bequeaths to beloved wife Ruth all the household goods to be at her disposal. She is also to receive her thirds or proper dower according to law. Son Samuel receives six sheep and one-half of lot 47 of the fourth division. Second son Robert receives 12 sheep. Son Simeon receives four oxen, five cows, and thirty sheep. Simeon also receives one-half of block 50 of the second division. Eldest daughter Nabby receives two hundred dollars, one cow, and twelve sheep. Daughter Ede receives two hundred dollars, one cow, and twelve sheep. Spofford Parker who is now living with him receives fifty dollars, a yoke of oxen, and two suits of clothing of a decent kind. Spofford is also to be allowed to stay with the family until he is twenty-one. The remainder of the estate goes to son Frederick who is named executor.
Spofford Parker is likely the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Parker born in Blue Hill 28 April 1794. (Joseph Parker born 11 January 1766)
