Individual Details
Philip Carteret Whittemore
(1 Sep 1766 - 30 Jun 1855)
There is also a Massachusetts death record for Lewis dying in 1806 so maybe there is not a second Lewis. But the Lewis 1806 death is in Cambridge which seems the wrong place -- a father Joseph is given but not the mother's name -- maybe that is a different Lewis from another family.
I have gone with the NEHGR information for the time being. Although just the one Lewis 1803-1806 may be correct.
