Probate Court (Hillsborough County); Probate Place: Hillsborough, New Hampshire, Probate Records, Vol 31-33, 1820-1830, will of Joseph EastmanIn his will written 9 December 1821, Joseph Eastman bequeaths to beloved wife Betsy the use and improvement of all the real estate in Hopkinton except what he had on that day deeded to his son Joseph. The property set aside for Betsy's use was about 30 acres. To daughter Ruth Barnet, he bequeaths one dollar and the same amount to daughter Phebe Eastman. Son Joseph Eastman also receives one dollar. Sons Darius Eastman, Stephen C. Eastman, and Moses C. Eastman each receive fifty-three dollars. Daughters Hannah Eastman and Sally Eastman each receive twenty-five dollars. Son Darius is named executor.
