In his will, beloved wife Hannah Rogers receives the use of all the household furniture which is at her disposal forever. She also receives the use and improvement of the old house except what might be given for the use of daughter Sarah French Rogers. There is also a lengthy list of other provisions for her support and she also receives the use of the pew in the meeting house during her lifetime. Son Timothy Foster receives one good cow, a bed, and $100; this with what he has already received is his full portion. Daughter Hannah R. Kidder wife of Samuel Kidder of Charlestown receives a heifer and $150. Daughter Sarah French Rogers receives $25 from Mr. Richard Derby of Boston for her schooling and she receives an additional $25 for this purpose. Sarah also receives $475 when she comes of age or at the time of marriage. Son Samuel Abbot Rogers receives the black steer and the yellow steer which he calls his steers; these two steers are to be sold and the proceeds to be used for his schooling. Samuel also receives a bed and a cow and when he comes of age, $100 for his schooling. Son William receives the clock after his mother is done with it and one good bed. His three sons equally divide the wearing apparel. All the rest of the estate goes to son William who is also named executor.
