Henry Phelps wrote his will 15 October 1807. Beloved wife Mary receives use and improvement of one-third of the lands, buildings, and stock and the improvements on all of the household as long as she remains a widow. After her decease, the household items are to be divided equally among his three children. Beloved daughter Mary receives two feather beds and two hundred dollars. Beloved sons Henry and Chandler receives all the lands, buildings, and personal estate. Henry and Chandler are named executors.
