Case number 5300Daniel Chickering was executor.
Heirs signing as agreeing to the administration of the estate are Isaac Chickering, Zachariah Chickering, Molly Marston, Dean Chickering, and Hannah Chickering
The value of the real property was $7,365, the greatest value, $2,200, for the dwelling cider mill house on five acres.
The personal estate was valued at $1,645.
In his will, Samuel's first request (after the payment of his just debts) is that his grave be made in such a way that his "loving wife may be laid in the same grave after death."
Beloved wife Mary receives use of the southeast room on the ground floor of the house. He has a number of requests for her care and support to be provided by the executor. Daughter Molly Marston receives $50 and some household items. Daughter Hannah Chickering receives the southwest chamber for her use and a list of household items. She has privilege of use of the house as long as she remains single. Sons named are Samuel, Zachariah, Dean, Isaac, and Daniel. The will goes on and on. Date of the will in 15 Feb 1808.
