Individual Details

David Stevens

(3 Feb 1761 - 29 Jan 1834)

Served in the Revolutionary War.
It is possible that he is the David Stevens that has 1819 and 1824 probate cases for being a drunkard and spendthrift and needing a guardian. Joseph Holt, Jr. was named the guardian. But, the last accounting is in July, 1835 and so not sure if it is this David.
It is definitely him as the probate record includes a statement signed 6 July 1830 agreeing to the accounting of the guardian -- those signing are Sarah Stevens, Ebenezer Stevens, and Herman Stevens.
