Probate
New Hampshire. Probate Court (Cheshire County); Probate Place: Cheshire, New Hampshire, Estate Files, W1-W47, 1773-1786, File 47Samuel Wright did not leave a will. The inventory included the homestead farm with 263 acres valued at 393 pounds with a total value of the estate of 862 pounds. Widow's thirds were set off the Mary Wright and the remaining two-thirds of the real estate was divided among the children. After paying the claims against the personal estate, there were 64.5.5 pounds left to be distributed to the heirs. The final distribution of the personal estate included a payment of 21.8.5 to Mary Wright, 8.11.4 to eldest son Erastus and payment of 4.5.8 to the other children named in this order: Mary Gale oldest daughter, Azubah Wright, Susannah Wright, Eunice Wright, Olive Wright, Jason Wright, Clarissa Wright, and Samuel Wright.
