Silas Barker did not leave a will and his estateentered probate on 10 August 1836 with Caleb Gooden as administrator at therequest of heirs Abigail Barker, Samuel C. Barker, David C. Barker, and JoshuaAustin. On 30 August 1836, widow Abigial Barker was allowed one hundred dollarsin value from the personal estate for her support. Real estate was five acresof land valued at $20 and personal estate was $260.26.
