Probate

The following heirs, indicating they are all the heirs, signed a statement agreeing to make a division of the estate among themselves respecting the wishes of their father in his will: William Ames and Patience Ames, Luther C. Abbot, Ziba Abbott, Leonard Peabody and Dolly A. Peabody, and Daniel Abbot.

Daniel Colby Abbot wrote his will 11 April 1842. Sons Luther Abbot and Ziba Abbot receive $400 each in addition to what they have received. Son Daniel Abbot receives all the remaining real estate except a specified one-acre lot. Daughters Patience Ames and Dolly Peabody each receive $300 in addition to what they previously received. Son Daniel Abbot is named executor.
