1788, April 8. Noe, John, of Woodbridge, Middlesex Co.; will of. Wife,
Catherine, profits of % of lands devised to son, Peter, while widow; also a
negro wench, 2 silver tablespoons, 1 feather bed and furniture and £100,
to be paid by son, Peter. Son, Peter, homestead plantation with grist mill,
remainder of land on the Point, 12 acres purchased of Philip Kearney and 1/2 of residue of personal. Grandson, Noe Clarkson, land on Staten Island, at
the New Blazing Star ferry, purchased of John Mercereau. Grandson, James
Clarkson, 20 acres known by name of the Point which was purchased of testator's father, Peter Noe (it being that part adjoining the ferry land running through river or sound to land of John Clarkson). Said grandsons,
Noe Clarkson and James Clarkson, a negro girl, 3 silver tablespoons, 6
silver teaspoons and the remainding 1/2 of residue, to be divided between
them. Grandsons, James Clarkson and John Clark Noe, the ferry lot or
plantation purchased of the heirs and widow of Ruben Fitz Randolph, to be
divided between them. Said grandsons not to sell their lands until they are
