1813, Feb. 20. Bloodgood, Aaron, of Perth Amboy, Middlesex Co., farmer; will of. Wife, Abigail, interest of$250; also $17.50 yearly, during life, to be paid by my son, William; also household furniture as she desires, 2 cows, use of house where I now live,during life; also service of my negro girl, Dinah, who is to be freed at my wife's death. Son, Samuel, all lands I now own in Metuchen (57 acres),adjoining Perth Amboy and Bound Brook turnpike and the old New Brunswick stage road, Nathan Bloomfield, David Tappen; also 30 acres of woodland bought of John Carman, and 5 acres of meadow on Raritan Meadows, adjoining Terril's Island. Son, William, homestead place (75 acres) except 5 acres thereout which I give to son, Joshua; also 8 acres of salt meadow on Raritan River, about ¼ mile above the mills of Ellis Crow, with life right therein to my wife. Son, Joshua, also 30 acres whereon his house stands. To children of my dec'd daughter, Margaret(wife of Jonathan Freeman), $600 as they become 21. Residue of estate to three sons. Executors—sons, Samuel and William (with Samuel to receive the debts due me and to pay the debts I may owe,including legacies).
