Notes
Probate
Jere A. Blunt died in 1813, but the probate of his estate commenced on 25 November 1828 when Jere Blunt was named administrator. Real estate was about 350 acres valued at $2,750 and personal estate was $167.45. The accounting included claims against the estate by Jere Blunt and William Blunt for labor completed for the deceased which was partially offset by stock animals and personal property taken from the estate. Jere and William were each allowed an additional $200 from the estate. The whole of the remaining personal estate was set to the widow Abigail and the dower thirds were set to Abigail on 24 November 1829.1Delayed probate it seems, Caledonia County, 11:97 – it seems there could be a son William as he has a claim against the estate for labor done for the deceased

Property
On 4 May 1789, Jeremiah Abbot Blunt, yeoman of Danville, purchased the north end of lot number fourteen in Danville from Jacob Bayley for payment of sixty dollars. On 23 December 1789, he purchased a lot from Eleazer Pope for thirty pounds. Jere Abbet Blunt purchased nineteen acres from Ephraim Hayward for twelve pounds. On 28 June 1793, he purchased sixty acres from Ephraim Magoon for thirty-six pounds.1On 1 September 1807, Jere A. Blunt sold the lot he purchased from Ephraim Magoon to Ephraim Morrill (perhaps his nephew son of his sister Sarah Blunt Morrill) for payment of one hundred and ten dollars.2
On 21 October 1834, Jere Blount and William Blount, both of Danville, conveyed one hundred acres in Danville to Shubael Farr for six hundred dollars. On 27 December 1836, Jere Blount of Danville, in consideration of four hundred dollars, quitclaimed his interest in the farm of his father Jere A. Blount to William Blount, the farm on which William currently resides.3
