Probate
In her will written 23February 1850, daughter Lucy Morse made bequests to the American HomeMissionary Society, the American Board of Commissioners of Foreign Missions, andthe American Education Society, There were bequests to her six nieces residingin Sutton being the three daughters of her brother-in-law Simon Hutchinson, thetwo daughters of her sister Mrs. Elizabeth King, and the daughter of hersister-in-law Mrs. Abigail Morse. Sister Mrs. Elizabeth King receives sixtydollars. The remainder of the estate is to be divided in equal portions amongher brother-in-law Ithran Harris, to his eldest daughter Mrs. Martha AnnBancroft, and to his second daughter Jane E.
