On 26 October 1792,Thaddeus Barker yeoman purchased a tract of land in the northeast quarter ofPacekersfield from his father William Barker for payment of £50. Thaddeus soldthis property in the northeast corner containing 80 acres to Jonathan Huntingin 1797 for payment of four hundred and eighty-three dollars, with his wifeMilley relinquishing her right of dower. He purchased 31 acres in the northwestquarter, part of lot number two in the fourth range, from Benjamin Pierce for fourhundred dollars on 14 January 1799. On 5 March 1803, Thaddeus Barker yeomanpurchased 52 acres in the southwest quarter of Packersfield from Amasa Aldenfor eight hundred dollars. Thaddeus Barker yeoman added 26 acres in thesouthwest quarter, part of lot number three in the ninth range, in a purchaseon 22 May 1807 from Banister Maynard for one hundred and twenty-five dollars.On 9 October 1807.
