On 18 February 1814 and 21September 1815, Jonas Carkin yeoman of Tyngsborough bought parcels of land withbuildings from Royal Makepeace of Cambridge. Total acreage was about 24 acreswith a total price paid of $850.[1][1] MassachusettsLand Records, Middlesex County, 207:124, 214:189On 8 February 1827, due to a judgment against JonasCarkin for a debt owed Paul Morrill of Dunstable, New Hampshire, a four-acretract in Tyngsborough belonging to Jonas was taken to settle the debt.[1] On 4 July 1826, JonasCarkin yeoman of Tyngsborough, in consideration of three hundred dollars,conveyed 23 acres in Tyngsborough to Jonas Carkin, Jr., stonecutter.
