In her will written 10August 1850 (probate 4 June 1851), Betsey Barker of Pelham bequeathed to herdaughter Clarissa Barker all the household furniture. Her wearing apparel wasbequeathed to her daughter Sarah A. Brown. Grandson Daniel Hardy of partsunknown will receive the clock on condition that he live to return home.Daughter Clarissa and grandson Benjamin H. Ames receive the property that wasleft to Betsey by the will of her daughter Hannah A. Cutter. Her two sonsSolomon Barker and Jacob Barker and daughter Julia A. Barker each receivesfifty dollars.
