Probate
In his will written 17April 1857 (proved 2 June 1857), Robert B. Chamberlin yeoman of Chelmsfordbequeathed one hundred dollars each to sons Laomi Chamberlin and Robert B.Chamberlin. Daughters-in-law (stepdaughters) Lorinda Parker and Mary W. Woodseach receives seventy-five dollars. Beloved wife Lydia receives all thehousehold furniture and the remainder of the personal property. Lydia alsoreceives the right to a piece of land in Allenstown, New Hampshire. Sone GeorgeE. Chamberlin and daughter Elizabeth Chamberlin receive one undivided fourth parteach of the residue of the real estate. Wife Lydia receives the reside of thereal estate during her life, and after her decease this is to be divided equallyamong his own children. Heirs signing approval of the will were LydiaChamberlin, Robert B. Chamberlin, Lydia E. Chamberlin, George E. Chamberlin,Mary W. Woods, and Larinda H. Parker.
