Will
In his will, Jacob leaves to wife Elizabeth all the household furniture and his private library for her use. He bequeathed to his sister Sally Cummings one thousand dollars. All the remainder of the estate is to be held in trust and used for the care and support of his wife Elizabeth and son James Merrill Cummings. Henry Foster of Boston Merchant is named executor.
