Rebecca Paine's parents are probably not Anthony Paine and Alice Potter. Anthony and Alice were in Rhode Island where they died. Anthony died in 1649 and his will does not mention a daughter Rebecca. Here is his will. The wife Rose mentioned is his second wife.
Anthony Paine's will was written May 6, 1649 and proved in 1650. The executor was his widow. Rose. Overseers were Mr. Porter and William Baustone. "I, Anthony Paine, in my perfect memory, do manifest my mind and last will is to give and bequeath unto my daughter, Alice, one cow, she or husband paying unto my daughter Mary Tripp, so much as the cow is judged to be more worth than the heifer; further my mind and will is to give unto my daughter Mary Tripp, one young heifer, and to be made up of equal out of the cow, and further my mind and will is to make my wife Rose Paine, my whole and sole executor, to see my the former covenant, and my last will performed and my debts paid, and Mr. Porter and William Baulstone to see my estate equally divided."
