Probate Court (New London District); Probate Place: New London, Connecticut, volumes C-D, volume D, pp 376-377In his will dated 24 November 1738 (proved 20 December 1738), Ambrose Blunt bequeaths to beloved wife Dorcas a comfortable maintenance as long as she remains a widow. Sons Ambrose and Joseph receive all the lands, buildings, and husbandry tools. Daughter Mehitable Gallup receives £20, daughter Hannah Crane receives £10, and daughter Ann Downing receives £10. Deacon Samuel Lathrop of Norwich and son Ambrose Blunt were named executors
