Damaris was the widow of John Marshall of Billerica at the time of her marriage to Thomas Johnson. In turn, she was the widow Damaris Waite of Malden when she married John Marshall. She married John Marshall in 1681. Her first husband was Alexander Waite whom she married in 1681 and he died that same year. Her maiden name is not known.
