In the will written 28 July 1775, beloved wife Deborah receives the use and improvement of one-third of all the lands and all of the household goods. After the decease of Deborah, the household goods will go to his four daughters Sarah, Deborah, Lydiah, and Marge. Beloved son Zebadiah receives all the lands purchased from Isaac Stevens that have not already been given to him by deed excepting one-third part of the orchard. Son Zebadiah is to make a payment to his brother Joseph. Beloved son Stephen receives all the lands in Andover not otherwise disposed of and also land that was purchased from Nathan Blanchard. Son Joseph receives the land purchased of Stephen Blanchard. The three sons Zebadiah, Joseph, and Stephen divide the wearing apparel. Beloved daughter Sarah Holbrook receives four pounds which makes her full portion when added to what she received at the time of and since her marriage. Daughters Deborah, Lydia, and Mary each receive forty pounds. Son Zebadiah is named executor.
