Robert "Bob" Flatt died peacefully, surrounded by family, in his home on April 11th, 2017 in Modesto, CA, at the age of 75.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Cherie, his sisters Pat and Debra, his brother Roger, his daughter Jennifer, his sons Robert, Scott, Jason, Jeff, Trevor, Greg and Torry, his 16 grandchildren and his great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father Robert and his mother Eleanor.
Bob was born on February 19, 1942 in Oakland, CA. After graduating from Fremont High School in Oakland he began working in the dairy industry at the age of 16. He loved his work. After a long career with Sunnyside Farms he retired in 2008. He was an avid sports fan. He followed the local professional and college teams and was elated to see his Giants win 3 championships however his greatest joy came in watching his children and grandchildren play soccer and baseball. He loved poker and music and enjoyed taking road trips to participate in poker tournaments and attend festivals and car shows.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 20th at FES Hall, 140 North Lee Ave., Oakdale, CA 95361. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob's life.
