Mrs. John Seigel Dies at Altoona
Mrs. John Seigel, 62, Altoona, died at the Sacred Heart hospital at 12:40 a.m. Saturday. She was a resident of Altoona for the past 12 years.
She is survived by her husband, 13 children and four brothers. Eight daughters, Mrs. B. J. Just, St. Paul; Marguret Dawson, Los Angeles; Mrs. W. Kilkelly, Bayfort; Mrs. Dolores Larson, Altoona; Mrs. A.A. Ildved, Mrs. F.G. Flick, Mrs. Theresa Heinzer and Mrs. F.J. Cavanaugh, all of Minneapolis; five sons, John Seigel, Jr., Appleton; Louis Seigel, Eau Claire; Pvt. Howard Seigel, Fort Sheridan; Paul Seigel, USN; and Pvt. Robert Seigel, Camp Sibert, Alabama; four brothers, Paul A. Smith, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Arthur and Joe Smith, Altoona; and Ed Smith, Minneapolis.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Eau Claire Funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. St. Mary's church at Altoona, the Rev. Father Joerrisen officiating.
Interment will be in Calvary cemetery at St. Paul.
