Services for Nathan Johnson, 44, were Tuesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. from the
United Covenant church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Gary Tonn officiating.
Bev Moll was organist. Providing vocal music were Sherwin Linton and
Annette Murray.
Casketbearers were Brian Bottolfson, Mike Olson, Dennis Gilbertson, Larry
Anderson, Pete Rivard, Gred Lindell, David Marlett and Bill Trent.
Nathan Joseph Johnson was born on Dec. 28, 1949, in St. Paul, the son of
Teresa Sciesinski Johnson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith
and graduated from Johnson high school, St. Paul. He attended two years of
vocational school.
On May 10, 1969, he was married to Marcia Mallinger and four children were
born.
On Dec. 1, 1984, in Clear Lake, he was married to Janelle Newville and two
children were born.
He lived in St. Paul until September 1987 when he and Janelle moved to
rural Osceola. He was a service technician at Anderson Ford, Baldwin.
He was a member of the United Covenant church, Clear Lake, and also a
member of the "Bog Buster's" Club.
He died unexpectedly at Ladd Memorial Hospital, Osceola, on Saturday, May
7. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa.
Surving are his wife, Janelle of Osceola; sons, Cory, Kirk and Chris of
Clayton and Cole of Osceola; daughters, Kari (Scott) Goodson of Eagan, Minn.,
and Kaitlyn of Osceola; and one granddaughter.
