Lorraine Brathall, 77, 327 Sixth Street N., died Monday, June 5, at the Hudson Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit, to which she had been admitted on Saturday.
She was born July 8, 1911, in Houlton, St. Joseph Township, the daughter of George and Anna Howden Cashman. She attended schools in St. Joseph Township.
On June 14, 1934, she was married to Harold Brathall at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Stillwater.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Northline, east of Hudson, to a dairy farm. For a few years Mr. Brathall delivered milk in the Hudson area. They moved into Hudson in 1941.
For many years, Mrs. Brathall was employed at Sam's Restaurant in North Hudson. She retired in 1974.
She was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church in Hudson.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Charles (JoAnn) Reisinger of Hudson; two grandchildren, Mrs. Deborah Kay Teed of Houlton and Mark David Reisinger of Hudson; two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Gene (Eleanor) Heiberger of Bonita Springs, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Decembe4 3, 1986, and a sister and brother.
Visitation was Wednesday, June 7, at O'Connell's Valley Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, June 8, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Peter Szleszinski officiating. Music by the Hope Choir and organist, Elsie Sandquist.
Interment is in St. Patrick's Cemetery with pallbearers Peggy Golla, Kathy Anitzberger, Barbara Bishop, Steve Heiberger, Randy Steed and Mark Reisinger.
